Con el cuerpo como centro de acción, Inercias aborda cuestiones como las ataduras que nos vienen tanto impuestas como autoimpuestas, convirtiéndose en cargas y obstáculos que impiden que avancemos en aquello que nos interesa, relegándonos a un estado de inactividad o ralentización de nuestros proyectos. La ambivalencia de algunas imágenes pone de manifiesto sentimientos encontrados, de rendición y fragilidad al tiempo que de resistencia y lucha en las pequeñas batallas cotidianas.
Déshabillant la maison (Homenaje a Louise Bourgeois) consta de trece dibujos a modo de secuencia, donde la casa es habitada por el cuerpo y éste por otro cuerpo aún por llegar. Este homenaje a las femme-maison de Louise Bourgeois parte de esa misma ambivalencia y ambigüedad del espacio doméstico, en un juego entre el refugio y la fortaleza, en este caso, el despojarse definitivamente de la imposición de la casa.
Through small simulated actions and the body as the centre of action, Inertias tackles issues such as the ties that are both imposed and self-imposed on us, becoming burdens and obstacles that prevent us from advancing in what interests us, relegating us to a state of inactivity or slowing down our projects. The ambivalence of some images reveals mixed feelings, of surrender and fragility as well as resistance and struggle in the small daily battles.
Déshabillant la maison (Homage to Louise Bourgeois) consists of thirteen drawings by way of sequence, where the house is inhabited by the body and the body by another body yet to come. This homage to the femme-maison of Louise Bourgeois starts from the same ambivalence and ambiguity of the domestic space, in a game between refuge and fortress, in this case, the definitive divestment of the imposition of the house.
